Description | (CNN) - Former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page Tuesday night to criticize the Obama administration's response to the ongoing turmoil in Libya.
She noted the White House released statements about the earthquake in New Zealand, "but nothing on the slaughter in Libya?"
The former Republican vice presidential nominee said "now is the time to speak out."
"For four decades this tyrant has held power. Gaddafi was Osama (bin Laden) before Osama hit the scene," Palin wrote. "Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power."
Violent anti-government protests continue in Libya while leader Moammar Gadhafi vows to hold onto power. |
