DescriptionWhile many are upset about the Republican budget that strips unions of collective bargaining, what they should really be fearful of is the upcoming redistricting process in Wisconsin this fall . . . .

The 2010 elections did more than bring about the current protests and what will likely be a damaging blow to the unions in the state. What the Republican/Tea-Party wave really did last year was give the GOP the ability to permanently turn the state red for the next decade.

Republicans will not only draw a map that strengthens their current legislative districts, but will also probably make Democratic districts more vulnerable and will likely pick up seats in 2012.

And after these protests, you can bet the Republicans will draw the most politically-advantageous map possible.
