Description | Democratic Governor's Association chairman Jack Markell, the governor of Delaware, admitted publicly what we had been speculating for weeks: his organization has delivered $6 million to the Florida Democratic Party to help elect Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink -- $2 million more than it had previously reported.
Sink has raised $10 million in cash and received $4 million from in-kind, or soft money, contributions so far in her campaign. Her Republican rival Rick Scott has spent $60 million of his own money on the race so far, including the money from his wife to his political committee. He has raised $1.2 million in cash and received $1.2 million in in-kind contributions. |
