Description | Democrat Alex Sink added $598,601 to her campaign during the last week of September, new campaign finance report show. She has now collected $9.8 million through more than 60,000 contributions. Her campaign has raised about $1 million of that through the internet, which Sink says has never been done before by a gubernatorial candidate.
Republican Rick Scott put another $2.4 million of his own money into the race, bring his total personal investment to $54.9 million, which has also never been done before.
