Description | A teenager from Schuylkill County has been told to stay away from Sarah Palin.
A judge in Alaska has issued a 20-day protective order against Shawn Christy of McAdoo.
Christy, 18, is accused of stalking and threatening the former Republican vice presidential nominee.
Palin and her attorney claimed Christy made implied threats through phone and written messages.
They also said he told Palin to "watch her back" and made references to a gun.
Palin testified by telephone that she feared for her life, and for her family's safety: "Bottom line is, he is crazy and could kill me," Palin said, according to the court transcript. "He wants me dead." |
