| Description | Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine will travel to Colorado Thursday to be the featured guest at a unity event for the state Democratic Party, POLITICO has learned.
The high-profile visit by the party chairman is the latest acknowledgment that the acrimonious Senate primary contest between Sen. Michael Bennet and former state House speaker Andrew Romanoff has hardened feelings and intensified divisions between supporters in the two camps. On Monday, Romanoff blasted the DNC for its "inappropriate" involvement on behalf of Bennet. |
