How did we fall for Obama?

| Description | That President Obama is a disaster for America’s future is a fact no longer open for discussion (to borrow a phrase from Al Gore).
The question we really need to focus on is this - How did America manage to put Obama, a freshman senator from Illinois with so many radical-left anti-American friends and associates, who has never been an executive in any organization, into the White House?
As the oil flows into the Gulf of Mexico day after day, the helplessness and incompetence of President Obama make even Jimmy Carter look like a genius. Now we read that the U.S. Coast Guard, under command of the president, refused for days to allow giant barges ordered by the Louisiana governor to begin vacuuming thousands of tons of crude oil from the Gulf waters.
That oil will of course find its way to Gulf Coast shorelines as a result. Other disastrous Obama Administration decisions, such as no help wanted from Europe or elsewhere, have enabled many thousands of tons of additional oil to reach the Gulf Coast shoreline instead of automobiles in the Midwest and elsewhere.A few other unwelcome surprises:
· Most Americans, do Not want “Obamacare.” Yet the backroom deals President Obama promised would never happen in his administration, made with senators, congressmen, unions etc. will force upon us a health care system that will inevitably result in health-care rationing for all, and of course fewer health-care choices and higher insurance costs for most of us..
· Did senior citizens understand in 2008 that they’d lose about $450 billion in Medicare funding in the next 10 years to help fund health care for millions of others (including illegals)? |
