Description | On MSNBC's Rachel Maddow show last night, Paul did not directly answer whether he would have voted for the landmark 1964 law banning discrimination. "I don't believe in any racism...I don't think we should have any form of institutional racism," Paul said at one point.
But when pressed on whether he supported some aspects of the law -- which banned discrimination in the workplace and public places, such as schools and voting booths -- Paul answered with comments about how the government shouldn't get involved in private business. |
