Description | Gov. Pat Quinn says he has a message for Sarah Palin as the former Alaska governor heads here for a big fundraiser Wednesday: Stop being so "divisive."
At a press conference, Mr. Quinn, a Democrat, said he's always tried to follow the policy of "everybody in, nobody left out" in his governance.
But Ms. Palin? "I've heard a couple of speeches when she has singled out a few people," he said. "Some people in politics think they can make political gains by dividing people."
But that is "divisive," and if Ms. Palin continues down that path, "She should try a new message." |
