Description | Former Quebec Conservative MP Heward Grafftey has died.
Grafftey died at the Royal Victoria Hospital Thursday. He was 81.
Grafftey served the Brome-Missisquoi riding as a Tory for 18 years.
He was first elected to the House of Commons in 1958, eventually losing his seat during the wave of support for Pierre Trudeau in 1968, and again in 1980, when he feuded with then Tory party leader Joe Clark. |
