DescriptionThe Federal Reserve has expressed concern that the labour market might not fully recover until at least 2005 even if the economic recovery continues to strengthen.

The comments have raised speculation that Alan Greenspan and his fellow Fed policymakers will keep rates on hold until there are clearer signs that the economic recovery is translating into sustainable jobs growth.
