Average gasoline prices in Georgia are up 29 cents a gallon, so far, since May 1.

But supplies are up, nationwide. And demand is down, overall.

"We're going to see higher gasoline prices as the summer goes through," said Oil Industry Expert Tex Pitfield on Tuesday. Pitfield is most recently President and CEO of Saraguay Petroleum Corporation of Atlanta and is a consultant.
