| Description | RALEIGH - State lawmakers gave final approval Tuesday to new boundary lines for the districts they represent, including a Senate district in north Mecklenburg where former Sen. Fountain Odom of Charlotte said he will run.
General Assembly leaders also created a controversial judicial panel to hear lawsuits that Republicans have promised over the legislative maps.
