DescriptionOn the verge of vindication, former Rep. Gary Condit plans a tell-all book.

Condit, whose once-promising political career collapsed after the mysterious murder of 24-year-old intern Chandra Levy, said the world is finally ready to hear his side of the story.

Condit, who ran ice cream stores in Phoenix after losing his seat representing a district about 100 miles from San Francisco in 2002, hailed reports that cops are about to charge Ingmar Guandique, a Salvadoran immigrant already jailed for attacking two joggers.
