| Description | U.S. Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., is expected to announce that he will not run for president.
Citing party insiders it did not identify, the Journal Inquirer newspaper said Dodd's announcement will come in the next few days. If Dodd decides against a run, it would put an end to any direct competition with the state's junior senator, Joe Lieberman, who officially announced his candidacy last month. |
