Democrat Jim Slattery hopes so. He’s gambling that his two new, did-you-see-that 30-second spots will “cut through the clutter” and persuade you to take a second look at a U.S. Senate race receiving scant attention.
“I think they’re going to be very effective,” said Slattery, who trails in the polls. “And I think they’re making some very important points.” |
