Description | Joe Kernan never lost faith.
Not when he spent 11 months as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam.
And not during the week when Hoosiers lost their governor, Frank O'Bannon.
Gov. Kernan is no die-hard Roman Catholic, nor is he outspokenly religious -- but he is a man of deep faith. Especially the day of Sept. 8, when he found O'Bannon unconscious in a Chicago hotel room. |
