Description | LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- California Gov. Gray Davis, who was re-elected by a slim margin, his reputation suffering from the state's energy crisis and $20 billion budget deficit, Tuesday ruled out a 2004 run for president during a TV interview.
Davis, who has been mentioned as a possible Democratic candidate despite his low approval ratings because of a sizable war chest and fund-raising prowess, told MSNBC's "Buchanan and Press" that he would not seek the nomination.
