Napolitano tops McCain in Senate matchup

Description | Democratic Gov. Janet Napolitano would defeat Sen. John McCain by 11 percentage points if the two met in a race for his Senate seat, according to poll results released today.
The Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center poll found that 47 percent of respondents favored Napolitano, and 36 percent favored McCain, the Republican incumbent. Seventeen percent were undecided.
The poll surveyed 629 Arizona voters and was conducted between July 27 and Aug. 4. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points. |
