Description | A little-noticed elected body in Orange County, created during the aftermath of the nation's Dust Bowl disaster, is facing a crisis that threatens to dry up its resources.
Commission members of the Orange Soil & Water Conservation District were told recently the panel is no longer welcome to use its county office on Michigan Street.
The district's five-person board, which is charged with educating the public about watering lawns and conserving soil, also has had other support taken away. |
