Description | How important is Northern Kentucky to Gov. Ernie Fletcher's re-election bid?
"If he doesn't carry Northern Kentucky, he's not going to be governor," Cold Spring resident and former Republican state Sen. Art Schmidt said. "That's practically a certainty."
Not only must Fletcher win this region, he must do very well here, Schmidt said, because he needs to make up for votes he'll likely lose in other regions. |
