Description | The Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority got new marching orders Wednesday that its leaders hope will begin to revive the beleaguered agency.
In his first full meeting as chairman of the toll agency, Orange County Mayor Rich Crotty unveiled a raft of reforms to increase transparency and restore public confidence. The authority has been wracked by troubles since October, when it was revealed the agency paid toll critic Doug Guetzloe $107,500 for opinion research on tolls. |
