Kennedy trails Klobuchar in cash going into final weeks

| Description | WASHINGTON - The campaign of GOP U.S. Senate candidate Mark Kennedy said Friday it had $561,000 in the bank at the end of the last reporting period - less than half of the amount his Democratic opponent Amy Klobuchar had.
On Thursday, Klobuchar announced she had $1.24 million at the end of the last reporting period, which ended Oct. 18.
From Oct. 1 through Oct. 18, Kennedy, a Minnesota congressman, raised $536,000 while Klobuchar, the Hennepin County attorney, raised $700,000. |
