DescriptionINDIANAPOLIS - House Republicans are heralding changes made this session that they say will hold the statewide average property tax bill flat in 2006, compared with last year.

"We surpassed our own expectations by having the lowest property tax impact on Hoosiers in institutional memory," said House Speaker Brian Bosma, R-Indianapolis. "For the first time, homeowners will see no property tax increase."
