| Description | Late Thursday afternoon, WCCO-TV learned Patty Wetterling may be dropping out of the race for the U.S. Senate.
Wetterling has scheduled a press conference for Friday afternoon at the State Capitol. Her campaign will not reveal the purpose of the conference, but high level DFL sources told WCCO-TV Wetterling is considering dropping out of the race.
Her campaign spokesperson said he is "not going to confirm, but will not deny" she is leaving the race. |
