| Description | Two elections in Monmouth County remained undecided yesterday after tallied votes from a malfunctioning machine did not deliver clear winners in the freeholder race or the 12th Assembly District.
Democrats are trying to hold on to their freshman seats in the 12th District, where Republicans claim they rightfully wrested them away Tuesday in a hotly contested and expensive race. The district spans Monmouth and Mercer counties.
