DescriptionFormer Democratic Governor L- Douglas Wilder says he won't support the party's candidate for attorney general in the November 8th election because of their differing views on gun rights.

Wilder -- who is now Richmond's mayor -- sent a letter to Democratic state Senator Creigh Deeds of Bath County informing him of his decision.

He says he's worried Deeds would reverse the state's concealed weapons permit law.
