| Description | The Orange County Republican Party's ethics committee voted Wednesday to censure 48th congressional hopeful Marilyn Brewer for what they said are misleading and inaccurate campaign materials.
The unanimous action stems from a complaint by state Sen. John Campbell's campaign. The two are among 17 candidates running in a special election Tuesday to replace Christopher Cox.
Brewer brushed aside the censure, saying the county party has endorsed Campbell. The former state assemblywoman said this action, which has no practical effect, will not alter her campaign. |
