DescriptionCHARLESTON, S.C. - A real estate agent from Charleston has entered the race to replace Democrat Inez Tenenbaum as education superintendent.

Elizabeth Moffly, 44, joins Spartanburg public relations executive Karen Floyd in the Republican field.

Tenenbaum has said she would not seek a third term. No Democrat has announced a bid.

Moffly and her husband own a construction and real estate company, Moffly Construction, and Deer Creek Farm in Charleston County.
