| Description | ATLANTA Representatives of the United Church of Christ have approved a resolution that moves the church one step closer to endorsing same-sex marriage.
The church would become the largest Christian denomination to endorse it if the resolution is given final approval.
U-C-C churches are autonomous, meaning that leadership does not create policy for its more than 57-hundred congregations. |
