DescriptionPhiladelphia Daily News article.

An excerpt...
"THE DEMOCRATS promised State Treasurer Bob Casey Jr. an easy primary if he'd agree to take on U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., next year.

But they couldn't promise him no opposition at all. So, while the party's leaders and top elected officials are all on the Casey bandwagon, a handful of others are crafting wagons of their own.

One of them is Alan Sandals. He's a well-respected plaintiffs' attorney in Philadelphia who specializes in workers' pensions and medical benefits.

Sandals, 51, has formed a committee to explore a run against Casey for the Democratic Senate nomination next spring."
