Description | Gov. Ed Rendell and U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, both running for re-election next year, are losing favor among Pennsylvania voters, a new statewide poll shows.
But if the election were held today, Rendell would still eke out a win because the field of potential Republican opponents remains relatively unknown.
The news is not so good for Santorum. He would lose to Democrat Bob Casey Jr. — one the state’s highest-profile Democrats — by a single-digit margin, Franklin & Marshall College’s Keystone Poll found. |
