If Bob Casey Jr. runs for the U.S. Senate next year, he will defeat Rick Santorum.
He will defeat Santorum because the incumbent Republican is too right-wing for the majority of Pennsylvanians (though, by golly, conservatives love the guy).
He will defeat Santorum because he is antiabortion and anti-gun-control - two wedge issues the Republicans normally have a lock on.
