Description | In a 15-14 Democrat majority on the City-County Council, it was the Republicans that elected the new council president -- a Democrat.
All 14 Republicans and 4 Democrats voted favor of 11th District Democrat Steve Talley for council president. And not everyone was happy about the decision. One man shouted from his seat and was later escorted out of the council chambers.
