Description | More than a year after California voters forced him from office in a recall election in favor of an actor, former Gov. Gray Davis started a new job Wednesday - at a law firm specializing in the entertainment industry.
Davis, who was a lawyer before he entered politics three decades ago, signed on with Loeb & Loeb. He will divide his time between the firm's Los Angeles and New York offices, specializing in corporate law. He also could weigh in on real estate, tax, litigation, entertainment, union and environmental issues.
His job duties will include attracting new clients, taking on philanthropic projects and advising partners on matters that intersect with state government. |
