PREDICTIONS: Everyone will sigh with relief when the results are known.
This has been a long and grueling election. People have endured appearances, leaflets, phone calls and ads for more than a year.
Those unrelenting ads — particularly for President and governor — turned negative early. Despite theories that attack ads reduce turnout, Secretary of State Bill Gardner is predicting a record 600,000 voters. That could mean surprises and upsets.
