Description | It's time for the federal government to get out of the business of corporate welfare, Conservative Leader Stephen Harper said Thursday.
Speaking at an aviation museum near Halifax on Thursday, Harper said low taxes, not government grants for businesses, are the road to a better economy. Harper has long said he doesn't support the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and its loans to businesses in the region.
