DescriptionSALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Nolan Karras named a former U.S. Congresswoman, Enid Greene, as his running mate Saturday.

Greene, 45, is vice-chair of the Republican Party of Utah and president of the D. Forrest & Gerda M. Greene Foundation.

"Enid's federal experience compliments my own experience in finance and state government," said Karras, the chairman of the state Board of Regents. "She has proven she is capable of being Governor in her own right."
