Description | Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney scores well in poll
The Washington Times
Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney gets high marks from a sizeable majority of state residents in a U/Mass poll released Tuesday. Romney, a Republican, scored a favorable rating of 62 percent among residents of Massachusetts, a state overwhelmingly populated by Democrats. Slightly less than 6 out of 10 people sampled, 58 percent, said Romney's job performance was excellent or good, down 4 points from a survey that was released Jan. 4, 2004. The poll of 463 residents of Massachusetts, conducted March 30 to April 4 by the University of Massachusetts, has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percent. |
