How do I make an image / HTML /bold / italics / user name appear in my post?
FAQ DETAILS
Parent About Website
Answer Unfortunately, the site does not accept many normal HTML commands in user posts. However, you can use boldface and italics as you can using normal HTML codes.

For those unfamiliar with HTML, it is easy to use bold/italics:

<b>TYPE YOU WANT BOLDFACED</b> becomes TYPE YOU WANT BOLDFACED

<i>TYPE YOU WANT ITALICIZED</i> becomes TYPE YOU WANT ITALICIZED

<q USERID>TEXT YOU WANT QUOTED</q> becomes
Username:
TEXT YOU WANT QUOTED
(Replace USERID with the ID# of the user you are quoting)

<private USERID>TEXT YOU WANT PRIVATE</private> Displays the TEXT YOU WANT PRIVATE only to the person you have indicated and a very few select moderators (currently only Randy). The semi-private nature is necessary to prevent illegal activity on this privately owned website.
(Replace USERID with the ID# of the user you want to send a private message to)

You cannot use <u> to underline text. This will not be available in the future, in order to prevent confusion with links.

To make an image appear in your post (offensive/spam images will be deleted; please keep the size of the image in consideration, as they will slow down peoples ability to load pages), simply type the image location as you would an http: address, but replace the letters "http" with "image".

image://www.imagelocationhere.com

If you want to resize the image (generally to make it smaller):
image:(640x300)//www.imagelocationhere.com

To make the name of a member on the site appear as the screen name they have when the message is read (instead of the screen name they have when the message is posted), type User#XXX where "XXX" is the unique ID number of the member, which appears next to their screen name in every one of their messages.
