Reduce Polygon Map Files Sizes
Description
If anyone sees individual polygon maps larger than about 20k in size, can you use the Reduce Poly to bring them down to around the 2k-20k size range, ideally under 10k?
To do this, you edit the container with the polygon and use the Tolerance field and Reduce Poly button next to the polygon map image. A larger tolerance gives a smaller file size and a smaller tolerance will give a larger one. You must click the Reduce Poly button after adjusting the Tolerance - hitting return will not reduce the polygon count. It can be a bit of an art to get it right, you want the smallest file size that doesn't distort the shape of the polygon too much.
