Description | A primarily residential, affluent riding in the Lower Mainland which includes the part of Delta east of Highway 91 and has Annacis Island as its N.W. boundary. From Annacis Island, it runs along 96 Avenue, which forms the remainder of the northern border; it runs between Highway 91 in the west and 120 Street in the east.
In the 2006 census, the immigrant population was 33%; 15.5% gave Punjabi as their mother tongue.
The visible minority population was 40% - 24% South Asian; 8% Chinese.
No change in the 2008 redistribution. |
