Important Election Dates
State Primary Election. [Link] – The state primary election shall be held on the 2nd Tuesday
in September of every even-numbered year.
Primary Filing Deadline. [Link] – Friday of the following week after the 1st Wednesday of June.
General Election Filing Deadline (Non-major party candidates) - Wednesday before Primary.
Election Day Voting Hours: Generally between 6 AM to 8 PM EST (5 AM to 7 PM for CST)
