Formerly known as the 81-seat unicameral National Assembly (Assemblée nationale) until it was indefinitely suspended by the National Committee of Reconciliation and Development (Comité national du rassemblement et du développement, CNRD), created upon the Guinean coup d'état of September 5, 2021. The National Assembly was replaced by the National Council of the Transition (Conseil National de la Transition).
