InfoAdam Koenig is currently a member of the Kenton County Fiscal Court. First elected in 1998 at the age of 27, he was re-elected in November 2002 with 63% of the vote. Adam previously served 3 years on Villa Hills city council.

As County Commissioner, Adam has fought to improve public safety, efficient government operations and improving technology. Adam is proud to partner with the Kenton County Fiscal Court on installing the countys first storm warning siren system, adding police to the street, and upgrading a 30 year old 911 system. Kenton County received a 97% efficiency rating during an independent professional audit while Adam has been a Commissioner. In 2001 Adam fought to have illegal payments to the retirement system on behalf of a County Magistrate stopped. The retirement system eventually found in the countys favor, resulting in the savings of tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars.

Adam serves the people of Kenton County as Vice President of the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Council, member of the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky where he is past Chairman, the Kenton County Conservancy, and the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management District.

Adam was born and raised in Kenton County. He received a B.A. from Miami University in Political Science. Adam was married to the former Elaynea Smith, a graduate of Georgetown College, in 1996. They live in Villa Hills.
