InfoEddie Pauline is a dedicated community activist and political leader. An experienced businessman, he is currently serving as the Director of Sales Operations of Scout Media, Inc., a $12 million sports magazine publishing house and website production company that produces over forty sports publications and hundreds of sports websites nationwide, including Bucknuts Magazine and Bucknuts.com. The company was recently acquired by Fox Sports.

Prior to joining Scout Media, Pauline helped teach math and science at Kenwood Elementary School in Columbus. There, he worked with other teachers on developing new teaching methods for science and mathematics and garnered significant improvements with his students. This project was funded by a National Science Foundation Grant through Ohio State's GK-12 Program.

Pauline currently serves as President of the Board of the United Nations Association-Columbus Chapter, which encourages strong U.S. leadership in the United Nations. The chapter organizes the annual Columbus International Festival, and has been a leader in organizing the Columbus Tsunami relief effort with local international organizations and multicultural groups. Pauline is also a board member of the International Visitors Council. Most recently he has been appointed to the board of trustees of East Columbus Development Company.

He was twice elected Student Body President of The Ohio State University, where he represented more than 40,000 undergraduate students. He worked with the City of Columbus on several key safety and neighborhood revitalization projects, including Community Roots, a campus-wide beautification initiative and increasing community policing.

Pauline is originally from Mentor, Ohio, where his parents, Francine and Edward, still reside. His brother, Jason, is a firefighter also in Mentor.

Pauline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from The Ohio State University.
