Info | Mark Bennett took office as Hawaii's Attorney General on January 2, 2003, after being appointed to that post by Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle. Mr. Bennett graduated from Union College (summa cum laude) in 1976 with a B.A. in Political Science, and graduated from Cornell Law School (magna cum laude) in 1979, where he was on the Board of Editors of the Law Review. After law school, Mr. Bennett spent one year as a law clerk to the Hon. Samuel P. King, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
