In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Kreider is a farmer and rancher.

Rep. Kreider is a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church and a former vice president of the University Extension Council and former ASCS committeeman.

In 1992, the Kreider family received the Christian County Farm Family of the Year Award and appeared in "Today's Farmer" magazine.

Rep. Kreider was elected 1993 Freshmen Class President by his fellow freshmen legislators. He is distinguished as the first Democrat to hold a legislative seat in Christian County since 1904.

A 1973 graduate of Nixa High School, Rep. Kreider holds a degree in agricultural business and economics from Southwest Missouri State University.

Born June 24, 1955, in Nurnberg, Germany, Rep. Kreider currently resides in Nixa with his wife, Debbie, and their children, Lacey and Neeley.
