InfoRichard M. "Dick" Coffee

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1935, Dick Coffee moved to Florence, Alabama in 1941 and was raised by elementary school principals. After graduation from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Administration and a commission in The United States Air Force, Coffee served our Country for twenty-two years, retiring with the rank of Lt. Colonel.
Working primarily in the facilities planning and management business, Coffee has worked for Athens State College; Computer Science Corporation in Huntsville, and has retired after 15 years with the American Red Cross in Mobile. However Dick is now working part-time for the Red Cross while running for Congress.

Coffee has been married for 18 years to the former Ann Todd, and lives in an antique house on Government Street. Ann's 91 year old mother "MoMo" lives with them. They share two sons and three daughters, and love to brag about their 13 grandchildren spread from coast to coast.

Coffee's community involvement includes volunteering for the American Red Cross, the Arthritis Foundation (from which Ann retired) and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
