Michael Fjetland is a Fortune 500-trained attorney and an international negotiator since the 1970s. He is a frequent speaker, and has been a television analyst since 1991.

He has led negotiations in over 55 countries, beginning with the Fortune 500 in the 1970s -- and later as an entrepreneur working for small companies and individuals needing help.

Michael was the Gulf War analyst for Fox TV (Houston) in 1991. Fox TV recruited Michael as an analyst because he had been writing a book about a flash war in the Middle East and a terrorist attack against the U.S.

The 1993 World Trade Center bombing occurred two years after his 1991 forecast. Since the mid-90's Michael has also produced and hosted a number of "International Issues" TV programs in Houston on global issues that affect Americans - from business to terrorism.

On 9/11 (and during the Desert Fox attacks on Iraq in 1998) Michael returned as Fox TV's (Houston) terrorism expert. He also provides counter terrorism expertise to companies, governments and other TV stations.

Michael is an international speaker on global business and law - and how to reduce and prevent terrorism from global threats. He has lectured internationally from MSU in Michigan to Washington, DC to South Africa.

Michael says that, "Defeating terrorism requires working with diverse cultures, languages, global politics, technology, and the world community, by our leadership. We will need global support to be successful in the 21st Century war to defeat terrorism and bring justice and peace to the world. International law will play a key role."

Michael also volunteered to donate time to negotiate a child kidnapping case for a Texas girl taken to a terrorist base in the Middle East, which will be covered in a book he is writing entitled "The Hunt for R44: USAF Aux Search-And-Rescue."

Michael has published articles for over 25 years and is working on a book on terrorism, our future and insights gained from his unique global experiences.
